CBC Chair Marcia L. Fudge to Travel with President Obama for Farm Bill Signing

Today, Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chair Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) will travel with President Barack Obama to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan to attend the signing of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (The Farm Bill) into law. In October 2013, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi appointed Chair Fudge to serve as Leader's Representative on the conference committee for the Farm Bill.

CBC to Host National Day of Prayer to End Poverty and Income Inequality

On Thursday, February 6 at 1pm, Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and faith leaders from around the country will gather on the Capitol Hill East Lawn for the first national CBC Day of Prayer to End Poverty and Income Inequality. CBC Members will also host similar events in their districts with members of their local communities.
