On Tuesday, April 9 from 7:30 – 9:00pm, the Congressional Black Caucus’s Taskforce on Immigration Reform in partnership with Howard University hosted a forum on the impact of Immigration Reform in Black America.

CBC Taskforce on Immigration Reform Co-Chairs Rep. Yvette Clarke (NY-09), Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-04), and Dr. Greg Carr, Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Chair of Afro-American Studies at Howard University will lead discussion on the experiences and challenges facing immigrants of African descent to America. The panelists will also discuss assumptions about the impact immigration reform will have on African Americans.
