CBC Chairman G. K. Butterfield will Participate in a National Press Call to Mark the 150th Anniversary of Abolition Day

Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chairman G. K. Butterfield (NC-01) joins national leaders to hold a press call on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. EST to kick off a celebration of the historic 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the United States.  The event marks the ratification of the 13th Amendment and will encourage the official recognition of December 6th as Abolition Day.
