“This week, the Congressional Black Caucus was proud to welcome U.S. Representative Christian Menefee to our ranks. For 13 months, Texas’ 18th Congressional District has gone without a voice in Congress. A Houston native, accomplished attorney, and former County Attorney for Harris County, Texas, Rep. Menefee is well suited to serve the constituents of his district. At a time when the rights of our communities are under attack and everyday Americans are overburdened by the rising cost of living, we are honored to have a dedicated public servant like Rep.
