Today, Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Steven Horsford (NV-04) and members of the Congressional Black Caucus issued the following statement regarding the three U.S. Army Reserve soldiers killed in Jordan:

“The Congressional Black Caucus is saddened by the news of the deadly attack in Jordan that killed three U.S. Army Reservists. We are holding the families and loved ones of Sgt. William Jerome Rivers,  Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, and Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders in our thoughts, and we are hoping for the recovery of the more than 40 other soldiers who were injured in Sunday's attack.

“Each of their stories build on the unique and longstanding history of Black servicemen and servicewomen in our country, and we will be forever grateful for their service. As we await more information, we urge President Biden to take the appropriate action to bring those responsible to justice.”
