Congressional Black Caucus Statement on Dexter Scott King

Today, Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Steven Horsford (NV-04) and members of the Congressional Black Caucus issued the following statement on the passing of Mr. Dexter Scott King: 

“Today, the Congressional Black Caucus mourns the loss of Mr. Dexter Scott King, a leader and civil rights icon. We express our sincerest condolences to his wife, Mrs. Leah Weber King, his siblings Martin Luther King III and Bernice King, and the entire King family, and we are keeping them in our thoughts during this difficult time. Mr. King was an attorney, activist, author, producer, and advocate of nonviolence who dedicated his life to upholding the legacy of his father and mother, and we are forever grateful for his immense contribution to our country.”
