Congressional Black Caucus Chair Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) will appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, October 6, 2013 to discuss the impact of the government shutdown, what the constant fighting in Washington says about Congress’ ability to effectively govern the country, the looming debt ceiling debate and the upcoming 2014 and 2016 elections. Chair Fudge will join Richard A. "Rich" Lowry, editor of National Review, Michael Ellis "Mike" Murphy, a Republican political consultant, and Steve Inskeep, host of NPR's Morning Edition during Sunday’s roundtable discussion. “Meet the Press” airs Sundays from 9-10 a.m. ET on the NBC-TV network; 10:30-11:30 a.m. ET in New York and Washington.
