Judicial Nominations

“Protecting the Judiciary”

The African-American community has throughout history relied on the courts, especially at the federal level, to enforce their civil and constitutional rights. Consequently, ensuring that the judiciary is diverse and representative of changing demographics of our nation is critical to ensuring that African Americans receive equal protection under the law. The CBC Judicial Nominations Working Group remains vigilant in this effort by tracking federal District, Circuit, and Supreme Court nominees.
